After a short break last week Friday Floor Plan is back!  This week’s home is pumped full of style … from the exterior finishes of wood, stone and siding to the grand staircase and so much more!

What I love:

  • the style – very reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright’s home designs
  • the full bank of windows around the circular staircase
  • the double bank of garages linked by the porte cochere
  • an amazing master bedroom with the adjoining covered terrace
  • and sooo much more!

The ONE thing I’d change:

  • add a powder room close to the mud/laundry room and side entrance.

Yup, I can see myself living quite comfortably in this stylish home!  What about you?

wow, i love this house, so very nice

  2. Stunning! I could very easily live in this place, too! I love, love the black accents of the exterior against the wood and stone.

  3. Love it, especially the exterior finishes. Could be my dream home!

  4. True! True! Of course that may be the dream BEFORE the big house. Someone to clean. {sigh!}. LOL!

  5. I like it and would be interested to see that auto court, sounds like it would be either a big waste of space or something really useful (for what though?) I’m not sure! Cool rest of the house though!

I was curious about that too Heather. I think the second garage would be a good workshop though – which garages usually become in most homes. I like that it is separate from the house – less noise and dust! I could see myself DIYing to my hearts content out there!

  6. Wow! That is a LOT of house. I love the layout and sections of it, but I keep looking and thinking “too much to clean!” haha!

I love that you brought back house plans. I LOVE them!

  7. Wow! How many square feet is that? It looks huge!
I too love Frank Lloyd Wright – I had the opportunity to visit Falling Water a few years ago and it was well worth the trip.
